Randomness

Wow, I didn’t realize it had been that long since my last post.  I’ve been so busy at work getting ready for my leave that I’ve been neglecting my blog :-).  One week to go and I am oficially done.  Not sure how long I will stay out on leave for but right now we are planning on 14-16 weeks.  I technically have up to 24 but the last half of that would not be paid and since the hubs just started working again (thank you!!!) I think it would be wise to go back sooner rather than later and start saving up.  Fortunately, we don’t have to worry about daycare for the first year as my mom will be taking care of our son.  That will be a big help both emotionally and financially.

I am ready for this to be over.  Not because of anything other than I want to stop worrying about him in there.  Pregnancy does not carry the same happiness for us that it does for others and I know that once he is born, it will bring a whole new slew of worries but at least my mind will be clear and it won’t be attached to pregnancy and loss.

On a side note, a friend of mine who went through IVF #1 and then lost her baby around 21 weeks just got a BFP after her FET and IVF #2.  (We had almost identical outcomes, so strange)  It is a high one so I hope it sticks for her.
